Simplified holiday gifting with custom multi-ship options
Domaine worked around Shopify's limitations to implement custom multi-ship functionality that would allow Tea Forté's customers to send items to several recipients at once rather than having to submit multiple separate orders. Leaving a lasting impact, this feature has resulted in continued purchases from Tea Forté for corporate gifting.
In addition to the custom Multi Ship functionality, Domaine implemented gift-with-purchase and discount scripts to enhance holiday shopping. Customers can now combine free shipping with promotions, enjoy percentage or dollar amount discounts on select items or quantities, and receive a gift of their choice when their cart reaches a certain dollar amount.
Tea Forté has a big inventory, and they wanted customers to find what they were looking for easily. The team added suggestive search using Algolia, and updated product filtering options to help serve customers with various preferences. Products can now be sorted through parameters like featured items, best sellers, and customer rating, and filtered with categories like tea type, caffeine level, and flavor.
Building a new customer experience on Shopify also meant creating a more accessible back-end for Tea Forté, reducing their reliance on developers for merchandising and promotional updates. Domaine ensured that the team kept the customizations they loved while removing the complexities that had previously slowed down daily website management.
